About Lincoln’s Playlist
About the Journal
It has been said that historians make their livings doing two things: arguing with each other and making lists about the presidents. Lincoln’s Playlist is an attempt by the authors to be seen as legitimate historians by providing little-known (and some might say “completely made up”) facts two to three times a week–or several times a month–to the general public at large. All were exhaustively researched and could probably merit a national award or two. Cash prizes would also be accepted. The authors are just saying.
For the record, LP was inspired by this. Who says radio is dead.
About the Authors
samurailincoln, creator and author of LP, is a semi-pro historian of American history in a city that has more ties to presidents than outsiders tend to think. Besides providing scholarship for this journal, he is currently paying many dollars for the privilege of writing about how leaving home could have killed you in nineteenth-century America. He will most likely never run for president, thus granting him the freedom to do completely outrageous things, which he does not do.
hclustyssesgrant, co-author, is researcher of the history of radio technology and has high hopes for time travel. If anything becomes accomplished on the latter front, the first time that he would travel to is October 13, 1912 to witness the genuine badassery of Theodore Roosevelt.
